One of the main challenges above all the different countries where Umicore is located is to retain a Umicore culture which reflects the characteristics of all the Group's entities. An important development in this context was the creation of "The Umicore Way".
The principles of the Group in terms of Strategy, business orientation and business practice are encapsulated in it. The Umicore Way explains the vision of the Group and the values it seeks to promote. It serves as the mortar binding between the different bricks of the company and is a reference point for all employees.
Together with The Umicore Way, all Umicore employees adopted a Code of Conduct. The Code is designed to provide a framework for ethical business practice throughout Umicore. It has been distributed throughout to every employee within the Group.
